Love is in the air!  These are the current pairings at Hazel Mountain.

 

These litters are expected the week of 5-26-13, but can be up to 5 weeks late.  Babies cannot be handled until they are 2-3 weeks old to avoid stressing Mom–this is the hardest part for us!  Occasionally, an exceptional mom will let us take a peek earlier, but colors and patterns develop over time, so please be patient while we wait to see what we’ve got!

 

We were lucky enough to let some of our ladies “socialize” with the gentlemen of First Harmony Farms in Illinois.  Therefore, clicking on the names of the potential daddies will redirect you to their website.  When the ladies travel to breed, they do have a lower chance for a successful pregnancy, but we have our fingers crossed that at least a few of these litters will be successful:

Kiara x Trapper:  Should be a nice dark litter with the possibility of snowflaking as adults.

Lia x Kellogg:  Hoping for some extra-dark kiddos from this cross.

Layla x Maui:  Crossing our fingers for dark babies.

Aurora x Bishop: This litter could have a variety of colors if successful.

Tahoma x Ford: With luck, we’ll get some lighter babies from this cross.

Diva x Guy:  Hoping for high-percentage snowflakes with nice dark faces.

Cookie x Malibu:  Good chance for high white/platinum/white chocolate babies.

Sophie x Dumbo:  Should be a nice pinto litter.

Effie x Mayhem:  Could be a very flashy pinto litter.

Kodi x Noble:  Expecting an excellent pinto litter.

Calais x Vernor:  Crossing our fingers for lighter babies.

Amelie x D’Art:  Trying for light babies.

Emma x Anouki:  Hoping for high-white/platinum/white chocolate babies.

Pixie x Iggy:  Expecting flashy pintos.

Ginny x Sparhawk:  Aiming for flashy pintos.

 

Litters will be marked in bold once they are  born, and moved to the “available” section when they are old enough to identify color/gender (usually 2-3 weeks old).  If you would like to add your name to the waiting list so that you will get to choose a baby before they’re offered to the general public, you may do so here.
